Giving and receiving feedback
A leading organisation in north India was looking to build a culture of effectively giving and receiving feedback.
Feedback is always seen as a negative interaction in the workplace. The primary reason being that feedback is not given well enough. While providing feedback, we are great at explaining what has gone wrong - but what about the rest of the attributes required to give feedback well?
In our intensive program on giving and receiving feedback, participants learnt to look at the psychological aspects and understand the impact that feedback can cause on an individual.
We break down feedback into 7 attributes that must be covered in any kind of feedback - positive or negative. All attributes are backed with real-world examples to ensure that the participants understood the attributes and why they are required.
Throughout the program, our participants are given a contextual scenario so that they can practice and also observe their own improvements as they start to give feedback effectively and using the right structures. We also share our proprietary feedback checklist that participants can use to ensure that the feedback they are giving is effective.
