Communicating assertively
A leading manufacturer in north India was looking to improve communication within the organisation.
Communication is a critical skill in the professional environment. Having great ideas, wanting to contribute and doing a great job require us to constantly communicate. Our client wanted to help it's employees communicate their ideas, inputs, updates, etc assertively.
We designed a contextual learning workshop for the client, filled with activities and role-play to understand the nuances of assertive communication. We showcased, through real-world examples, the difference between passive, aggressive and assertive communication.
Through our proprietary self-evaluation, the participants were able to understand their current state and develop a personalised plan of action for getting better at communicating assertively. We also shared a assertive communication checklist to help participants practice assertive communication regularly to make steady improvements.
